Just another midday, watching Showtime (which is great show to watch) and reading some blog posts. I have loved reading others' blogs, how they put their thoughts into incredibly awesome words. Well, I am not a good writer. I'm not good in constructing awesome words or doing beautifully written blogs. So why do I blog? I never knew blogging would be addictive. I am no good in writing but I l.o.v.e sharing my thoughts. I l.o.v.e to share what's on my mind at the moment. Yeah, just like that. So, basically. It doesnt matter if I am a frustrated writer. He-he.

So I was reading this man's blog posts and his posts were beautifully and intellectually written. I was far amazed on how he used his words. Yeah, ofcourse. He is a writer of a magazine, so no doubt on his awesomeness in writing. I was chatting with my boyfriend and I sent him a link of the man's blogspot. I told him why don't he try making a blogspot. My guy is good in words, I must say. He has a lot in mind. A lot. He constructs every single word with wit. But he is just so lame. Screw your being lame, honey! Ha-ha. I know how good you really are. Now, I'm dreaming that one day, one day. I can see a blogpost from him. I will be really happy if one day, he'll decide to write. and.. I cant wait!

My 100th blogpost! Okay, I am not a fan of reading horoscopes. But I am quite curious, who wouldn't be. I am 20. A Libran. I havent been so aware of a characteristic of a Libran, so I GoogleD it out of utter curiosity. It was a study. Note that i made the lines I agree most in bold.

The Female Libran: Individual


However, because they are so charming and eloquent, Libran women are sometimes taken for air-brains. Anybody who falls into this trap is gravely mistaken. Librans, given their varied interests, are usually very well-read and have logical things to say on myriad subjects. It's just that they are not very crudely vocal about it. Their most firm opinions are packaged in a satin-smooth tone which seldom offends her listeners. Margaret Thatcher, again a Libran, once mirrored this signature scale-bearer diplomacy with her statement, "You don't tell deliberate lies, but sometimes you have to be evasive." A Libran is euphemistic in her approach. She wraps the ugliest truth in a way that its not blatant enough to hurt a soul but at the same time very just and fair. In short, she's smooth and efficient.

A Libra lady is extremely fond of the fineries of life. She adores luxury and and can't keep from buying that exorbitant Jimmy Choo heels once it has caught her fancy. Believe me, they secretly dream about them until they can finally possess their much coveted item of desire. She is the quintessential 'roses and champagne' type. In fact Librans are said to have the best collections of perfumes. They are very particular about smelling good and have a penchant for les parfums les meilleures. In order to fund for these luxuries, most Libran women work. On a negative note, they practice so much indiscretion when it comes to splurging that a lot of bills are cleared with the help of their partners or fathers. Don't judge us as we have our Achilles' heels, too.

Libran women are extremely cultured and tend to develop a leaning towards artistic and creative things in life. Usually they themselves take up and cultivate a particular art form. They are connoisseurs of paintings, dance forms, music and literature. In fact they are often drawn to people who read. Author Katherine Mansfield, a Libran of course, once mentioned that "The pleasure of all reading is doubled when one lives with another who shares the same books.". We love books. Period. In fact my ideal date with a guy would book shopping and then going for coffee at a cozy den. Sublime! In fact Libra women are usually very attracted to good orators. The art of playing with words should be your forté in order to quickly win over this October chick. Even flowery verbiage is attractive to us Librans. Judge us as snobs if you want but at least we have a stronger vocabulary!


 Librans never ever dismiss anybody's point of view and never impress their own opinions on others. Whatever they say are most often a judgment created on the basis of careful analysis and much rumination and very morality inclined. Morals rank high in the thinking faculties of the Libran woman. While expressing her views on something her reply will almost never be monosyllabic. She will start off with a very vocal monologue, comprising the pros and cons of something and after much weighing will she arrive at a just, or at least the most fair conclusion. Once justice is attained she will regain her charming composure again. But until then, well let's say things are not that pretty. But once she's made up her mind, it is practically impossible to deter a Libran from her stand.


Libran personality traits may may ideally be described as a true blue 'mixture of opposites'. She is diplomatic and yet would never give up a chance to have an argument. She will chatter away to glory for hours all together, but when it comes to hearing you out, you will find another patient listener with difficulty. She is a very competent worker but at the same time hates to be ordered around. They hate moving at a glacial speed but take the most time to take decisions. They are hell bent on maintaining diplomacy but never refrain from voicing a just opinion even if it involves taking sides. All in all, Libran women are the most confusing people around who sometimes fail to understand their own actions and digressions from their own rules.


The Female Libran: Romantic Partner

 A truly emotional love situation, even that of a stranger's can deeply stir the female Libra soul. Thus, men should be happy to have a Libran lover as these ladies do everything to keep their love stories glitch-free. However, do not delude yourself with the belief that they will let you dominate and humbly accept everything you say. Gravely mistaken you shall be if you are naïve enough to believe this. When it comes to romance, female Libra characteristics, are manipulative but then again she does it all to win you over and then protect you.

A scale-bearer makes her husband her first priority. She will allow nothing to encroach that space. She will love and pamper him. She'll even read up on things that interests you and even learn a language if your mother tongue is different. She might pay equal attention to all the men in the party but understand that she has no real intentions for a single one of them. It's just that her ruling planet makes her naturally inclined towards becoming the heart of the party. A Libran woman enjoys no other success in her life – social, academic and professional if her romantic life is somehow disturbed.

 One of the major negative Libra woman characteristics include her swings from the manic to the depressive states and vice versa. In her manic stage, a Libran will not sit for a second. So there you have all the possible avatars of a Libran female. As humans, Librans have their pitfalls, but they are committed and loyal, like most women from other signs, working their magic in their unique style, taking help from their specifically designed female Libra characteristics. Meet my friend.

Have you ever tried meeting an unknown kid at the street? Yes, I did. I met this not well-groomed kid at the park. I was about to attend the Worship At the Park (WAP). This kid was like sitting on the bench, with fragrant sampaguitas on his hands. In short, a Sampaguita vendor. A singing sampaguita vendor.  He caught my attention because of the humor and sincerity that he showed me. Since I am a kid lover, I was like talking to him. And he was even there during the worship. Smiling. My heart goes out to kids like him, less fortunate but still looks at life positively.From then on, he has become a friend. Every time I attend the mass and gets to see him, he knows what to do with the sampaguitas im buying. He'd even offer help. Such a joy seeing him then. Why did I post this. Heck, cos I miss my friend. I've been telling my boyfriend that I miss the kid which happened to be his friend, too. It was last December 2010 when I last saw him. He was with a family at the mall and seemed like a helper. But it was okay though. And now, every time I go to church, I always try to look for him but he isnt there. I just wish him well. :)


My Friend's name is: TALING! Cos he got this mole on his forehead. :P


As I was about to blog this, I remembered I have an album in my multiply account wherein my first meet up with Taling happened. And I almost laugh my ass out when I read how I got along with him.

Dahil tagalog ang kanta. Tagalog ko rin ito i-papaunawa at ilalathala. Nung isang taon, Disyembre 2010. Ang kantang ito ay maya't maya ko ng naparinig sa Videoke. Nung una ko ito naparinig, para bang hinihila ang dalawa kong tainga sa kantang ito. Ang himig, tono, patok na patok sa aking  pandinig. Nakakabusog sa puso. Hanggang sa ito'y inawit ng aking pinsan na si Joshua. Siya yung hndi  papalampasin ang kantang ito pag nakahawak ng mikropono sa Videoke. Pinakinggan ko muli at binasa ang lyrics. At talagang dinadama ng puso ko bawat linya. Walang halong kasinungalingan o kur0-kuro. Pero talagang kinuha ng awit na ito ang aking atensyon at pinukaw ang aking pagkatao. Kumbaga, nakaka-gimbal ng pagkatao sapagkat subalit datapwat ay ako ay lubos na nakakadama ng sinasabi at pinaparating ng kanta. Para bagang ako ang nilalang na tinutukoy ng kanta. Saktong sakto, palong palo. Kagabi nga lamang, simula ng ang kantang ito ay nai-bluetooth sa'kin ng kaklase ko ay talagang hindi ko pinapalampas ang bawat gabi na ipipikit ko ang aking mata na hindi ito mapaparinggan. Kumbaga, isa sa nagsisilbing dasal ko narin ang kantang ito. Tulad nga ng nangyari kagabi, nagdsal ako at ipinatugtog ang kantang 'to. At hindi ko nalalaman at hindi ko mapigilin ang pagpatak ng aking mga luha. Alam ko, para sa akin ang kantang ito. Pero kagabi, sa kabila ng lahat ng nagawa kong pagkakamali, iba ang naramdaman ko. Naramdaman ko ang lubos na pagmamahal ng Panginoon na umaapaw sa aking kaluluwa (kung mayroon pa nga akong kaluluwa, biro lang :P) . Walang halong biro, iba ang saya sa puso ko kagabi. Para bang binubuhay ako lagi Nya. Para bang ang gaan lang ng lahat. Hindi ko alam kung paano ilalagay at isasa-sulat ang kaligayahan na naramdaman ng puso at isipan ko ng gabing yun. Ang masasabi ko lang ay talagang nagpapasalamat ako sa nasa Taas, na KAMI paring dalwa ang magkasama. Ako at Siya. Walang iwanan. At patuloy niyang pinupuno ng kaligayahan ang puso ko, ilang beses ko man siya nabigo, hindi siya tumitigil. Lalo niyang pinag-uumapaw ang ligaya at pag-ibig sa buhay ko. O Panginoon, mahal na mahal kita. At kung mayroon mang isang relasyon sa buhay ko na kahit sino ay hindi pwedeng husgahan, 'yon ay ang relasyon ko po Sa Inyo. Dahil tanging ako at Ikaw lamang Panginoon ang nakakaalam ng lahat ng nasa puso at isipan ko.   TAYO LANG, Lord. Gaya PARIN ng DATI. Ayoko magpanggap na kahit sino sa mga naging pagkakamali ko, lumalapit po ako ng buo Sa Inyo. :) TAYO LANG LORD!

Hindi ko man magawa ang mga bagay na nagagawa ko noon, sa maliit kong paraan ay pinupunan ko ang mga naging pagkukulang ko. Ganun parin, Lord. Gaya ng Dati. HINDI MAN NILA NAKIKITA, pero alam ko po. Alam niyo po iyon. :-)

Hindi ako nahihiya. Hindi ako perpekto at natuto ako. Hindi ako nahihiya kung sasabihin ko na ang naka 'bold' na linya. Yun ako. Ganun ako, dati-rati.

Hero Part III: The living Hero/Real Superwoman.

Life as we know it, is chiefly stressful. It’s an agony sometimes. Life is eccentric and so do the people. But you know what, every time I get to see newborns in DR, I always find myself in an almost-teary-eyed situation. Why? Because that’s the finest place where you can realize how precious life is despite the tediously stressful world we are living in.

As much as I am seamlessly concerned, I have a precious life just like the rest. Thanks to the greatest woman who happened to be patient enough to forcefully and tiresomely slash extremely did her best to dilate her cervix, oh yeah. Not getting any help from Syntocinon. 

A hero. Based on my own perception, is someone who is truly one of your effective vehicle to get the best accomplishment in your life, to become a better YOU in this ever changing world. Just someone who will never change you. He/She will be one of your preeminent sources of inspiration to strive. A life saver, perhaps. Someone who will save your being from being broken into pieces. A hero could be that one person whom you know will forever fight for you, no matter what. He/she will forver fight for you because that’s how passionate he/she is in serving and loving you. A hero, your guide in the battlefield.

A hero could possibly be the wind beneath your wings.

Just so you know, A hero is probably that one great person that God has given us who will teach us the most basic thing in life: LOVE. Someone whose love would carry you through even in the midst of utter chaos.

In case I will be put in as situation and be asked, Who is your life’s hero with God as an exception? I will indisputably  say, Lilibeth Muñoz.  And she is my living hero.

My Dear Lilibeth, your love has been overflowing. I hope you know how much I miss you everyday. I cant  wait to see you and get to be with you. Thank you for being my hero all these years. You have always been the best example of a hero. I love you, my living hero. You truly are the REAL SUPERWOMAN.

(Hey. Don’t get me wrong. I love my Papa a lot. But it’s different when you’re a woman. I’ve seen so many cases wherein babies are being delivered by mums and its way spine-tingling. And I will  forever thank my Mama that she really gave me this life. It was never easy delivering a baby, its hell! :P )
