Something fishy and fun.

Since work has been a little hard on me (WEH) HAHA. I joined the gang on their little Ocean Park experience. After the 11am Holy Mass at Carmel that Patten and I attended, we joined the gang and headed out to Manila. The weather was really Bipolar that Sunday. It was raining and sunny. Too bipolar.

We arrived lunch time @ Buendia, ate at this little Chicken resto which I forgot the name. Sorry for that. Haha.
I loved their chicken anyways. ☺

Ocean Park Photos:

We got to see different kinds of fish.
Just a little glimpse of what we've seen there.
Took few good shots.
RAWR.

This FASH SPA was really a cute experience! You just have to endure being tickled.

Glad to have taken few good shots!

 Black and White

& the most memorable thing that happened that day was, I was one of the few participants who volunteered on the face to face experience with the Sea Lion. HA-HA.
I got to meet Aira, sea lion's name. Well, she stinks and smells really fishy (Yes, as in fishy) But I had a good time feeding her.  And here's the catch, I got to let her kiss me on my lips (&cheek) HAHA.

My SEA LION experience:

Meet the gang:
L-R: Me, Patten, Ate Aiz, Kuya Kirby, Jaix & Kuya Patrick
(finally there's a group shot)

MUSHY-NESS with the Mushrooms.

After our little Ocean Park experience, we headed straight to MOA (Mall of Asia) and had dinner at Lamesa Grill and the foods that were served were lip-smacking.

and so the little kiddo enjoyed her Sunday.

November 3, 2011

You're indescribably precious.

Isnt it sweet? Oh Lord. I know everyone gets to receive such but this thing right here is just truly timely.

God has been so great. But this year, its incredible. I should know. Every time I ask him for something, He gives that to me. (Oops. As long as I work hard on that). There were times that I struggled a lot this year but WHOA. GOD NEVER FAILS. JESUS SAVES. I am really wide amazed with all the twists and turns of my 2011 but so far so good! Struggling but always surviving.

Yes, there were times this year that I experienced being down in dumps. Many many times. Literally. I’ve been down for a couple of times this year. My relationship with Patten and some of my closest friends went on a roller coaster ride.  A tough roller coaster ride I must say.  I felt a little struggle in school (Thesis and all the graduation blues). My mum’s sickness which really made me sad.  Work. A lot of things. Relationships, School, Board Exam, Work. Seriously, I struggled for the past few months. Thing is, I didn’t lose faith.  I held on to His arms tighter than ever. I strived to trounce on those exigent moments of my 2011. When everything in this world fails, God will be there to lift you higher and He will never fail you. All you have to do is to trust His loving ways, Trust His Love.

Looking back, I'm glad I faced those struggles and passed very well. Yes, I always say I still struggle. We all struggle at some point. But since my teenage years, I learned to thank God for my struggles because my struggles make me stronger; I also learned to thank Him for my defeats because my defeats taught me how to fight back and do well next time. Not only that, my defeats made me realize how great God's love for me is. And that's one of the sweetest things this life has to offer, Gods love.

Everytime I struggle, I pray. I think. I let it out and pray again. I wouldn't even notice that God is preparing something better than what I prayed for. You know in life, you just have to look what's beyond the picture. Look within.

If you are reading this, and if you're struggling like the little kid (I know we have different struggles) what I can just say is to keep the faith, my friend. Life is never easy, we all know that. Just show the Big Boss the desires of your good heart and I'm sure in no time, he'll grant your wish.

Plus, sometimes its nice to struggle. Its nice to be tested. You get to experience God's love more when you're struggling.

Yes, I'm struggling and still finding ways how to survive. But I'm sure I'll get through this because God will never give us anything we can't handle. Whatever kind of struggle I'm experiencing at the moment, good / bad I'd still thank God for all my struggles.

Good morning. Enjoy your November, folks!

You are very unique and precious. If you are struggling and having a hard time getting through it all, just remember this my friend: Jesus Saves. Trust His Love for you.

My sweet Bitch.

I should blog about this, really.
As soon as I got home from our trip, (October 11, SG Trip) I checked on my Facebook and  I was besieged on the photos tagged to me by one of my best buddies, Charmaine. Very sweet of Chamz. You know, I really appreciate her efforts of putting up the messages that some people close to my heart wrote.

I once made a surprise just a little bit of that to my friends, Lindsay and Heather (Click  Here. to check it out) and I didn’t realize that the feeling will be as great. Yes, I feel really loved.

My highschool friends, thru the good and the bad times still manage to be there for me. I am just so happy for the little messages that they have for me.
I love you, Chamz!  Thank you so much for the effort, I appreciate everything you did with all my heart. I’m glad to have a friend like you. Cant thank you enough and again.. I love you, Betch!

THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE LOVE.

And for me to be able to make it up to you, I made this. Ha-ha.
I love you, Betch! You know that!
HAHA. Sorry for whatever is written there, I dont want to make it mushy or dramatic. Too awkward and kadiri. I thought of making it a little funny and mean. Haha. I love you so much! I know you're smiling. ☺♥

SINGAPURA.

First time.

Last July, after I took the NLE , Patten’s brother told him that he booked a flight for us in Singapore. I was like ‘really? Wow’. Who wouldn’t be excited, right?

First out of the country trip. Wow. Days before the trip, I was struggling on how will I be able to file a leave at work? Haha. Gaah, I struggled but I got through with it. Yipee!

We left Lipa on October7, Friday night. Flight to SG is 5:45am so they decided that we stay at Patten’s unit and wait. The weather was really bad, there was a tropical storm. To cut the story short, we reached NAIA Terminal 3 and checked in.

Landed @ SG by past 9am.

OCTOBER 8. The day was about knowing how to walk it all off. Since, everything has been accessible; walking is a need as well. You really have to keep your feet well to do all the walking. We walked from here and there and enjoyed the every picturesque angle of the city. The city is very charming, clean and modern. I am the type of person/traveller who enjoys seeing the sights. I enjoy and appreciate cultures, people, arts, buildings and most of all foods. I can not even remember the number of times I told Patten this ``Tingnan mo, Baby. Ang ganda nung building no? Ganda ng pagkakagawa’’.  Patten knows a lot about art. He is a buff of all those foreign shows that tackles art, history, building, and etcetera. He is an Architecture student that’s why he appreciates so many things as well. I’m glad I had that trip with Patten.

Moving on, we went to Marina Bay Sands and experience the Chilli Crab at this little Makasuntra Gluttons Bay. Chilli Crab is one of SG’s best. Its delicious and chilli. Haha. Im not a fan of spices but this one is really good. If you go to SG, you have to try their Chilli Crab.

We arrived at the unit where we were staying late night, and we’re all tired. We cant even talk to each other because we were all exhausted (but we enjoyed..alot)

 First day photos:

Finally, I got to ride a plane. LOL.
Twas a smooth ride. I slept the whole time. Thanks to Patten who has always been such a supportive boyfriend with my sleeping talent. Bow :P

ION baby.

My sister-in-crime Jaica and Kuya Patrick (Patten's brother)

Bus ride.
SG bus drivers are fast and fearless. Whoah.

My favorite. Ive been really excited to see this right before my very eyes.

I love the Marina Bay Sands!

October 9. 2nd Day! The Universal Studios,SG experience.
One day isn’t enough to explore the entire Universal Studios but Im glad I got to experience their best attractions.

My Top 3 favorite!
3rd: Lights Camera Action by Steven Spielberg
Wow! I was wide amazed on how we were shown on how special effects work in a film, and I was like WHOAAAA!
2nd: The Mummy experience REVENGE OF THE MUMMY
Indoor Roller Coaster! Wow! I didnt expect the twist there. Haha. First time I held Patten's arm because for the first time, I got scared. Im not such a huge fan of horror. i love horror films, but only when im with someone. Haha.

1st: To top it all: It has to be the Battlestar: GALACTICA CYCLON!

It’s the Blue Track. And it’s a suspended Roller Coaster that goes up, around and upside down with an intense corkscrew and cobra roll! Oh well. I was blown away! What a roller coaster ride!
It was such a beautiful experience! I got to ride the two rollercoaster rides with Ate Mhye and Patten. The three of us were all excited, a little scared but more fearless. Y'know, you always gotta live with your fears, face your fears and enjoy your fears somehow. Haha. And we all did!

I am not exaggerating here, but the Universal Studios experience was such a cute experience. I love extreme rides and Universal Studios didn’t fail to impress  me.

Have a fleeting look on few of our Universal Studios photos:

After Universal Studios, we had to experience taking shots on the Candylicious store. Also in Sentosa. I got cute shots. Pat was such an amazing photog.

Candylicious.

October 10. Sad to say, but it was our last day. We're leaving the next day.
We had to make sure that we get to buy something/souvenirs from our Trip.

We went to Bugis and Little India. The walking was really insane. Yes, insane. It was really hot. Good thing is, you're breathing fresh air.

Photos from Bugis & Little India:

Literally, Little India was really like India. (Ive never been to India but Ive seen the place many times in the pictures, tv, web)

WALK. POSE. SMILE. WALK. POSE. SMILE. :p

We posed for this stair with the brand, Forever 21. They asked me to just take a quick pose since i was turning 21 the next day. Hehe!

Later that day, we had to do a little separation. Just a quick separation. Hehe.
The four of us had to experience the Cable Car.
Thanks to the very supportive and excited Tita Beth and Tito Sammy for making it happen. Hehe.
The cable car experience was really expensive, and the Vergara Brothers' parents treated us. Wow, thanks po! ☺ They're really more than excited and happy for us. Really sweet of them.

Yipee Yay!
Too much of a Picturesque!

After wards, we went back to Sentosa to experience what Sentosa and Luge offer more.

First was the Sentosa 4D Magix.
Second was the Luge Sky Ride where we also met up with Ate Gold and Ate Mhye.
The view riding the Luge Sky ride was breath taking.  I got to see a beautiful coastline.

Third, Sentosa Luge. Another favorite.  As they page says ''Thrill-seekers will discover a different challenge while manoeuvring down each track with unique lightings. ''

Photos, Yeah!
Lovely ride.

Last thing to experience in Sentosa was the famous Songs of the Sea.
We sat in front of the beach. I really dont have any idea of what to be seeing in there, well its nice in the first place that you dont have any idea of what might the show bring. I thought it was just a plain play but it wasn't.
There's a beautiful presentation on the sea. Water presentation. I have to admit, i got mesmerized. Its with a dramatic effect and pyrotechnics. Its something everyone will enjoy. You'll be in awe with all the flame bursts, lasers, and the good music being played. Its captivating. Kids will surely love it.

Songs of the Sea

While watching the show, I thought of my nephews. If theyre with me watching, they'll surely be in awe just like me. Then I noticed Patten looking sad. I asked him why. He said he remembers his younger brother Oyoboy who stays in London with their parents. Oyoboy has really dreamt of watching Songs of the Sea with their entire family. Such a sweet kid.

After the Sentosa experience, we had to go to Marina Bay Sands to have our last look.
Fortunately, we just got in time for the Wonder Full show.
Actually, this is my most favorite part of the trip. It made me in tears. Yeah, you know..just realizing that life is really wonderful. I've been really blessed this year and this show really made my heart melt. It was just.. captivating. Simple and beautiful.

♪♫What a wonderful world ♫♪

Last few shots from Marina Bay Sands

It was such a beautiful experience. We wanted to stay longer and explore more. We still have to see a lot. Hoping to come back next time though.

As we headed to Woodlands (where we stay), my good friend Jeboi gave me a phone call. We will all be meeting up with him and we all welcomed my 21st Birthday.
They're very sweet. I know they were all tired, their feet ached really bad but they managed to stay with us and celebrate my 21st.

My cake was from Bread Talk. It was a lip-smacking chocolate cake. Thanks to Patten for the cake and for Jeboi for treating us on Mcdonalds which was the only fast food left open in that time.

My 21st in SG
Thanks for your time people. I really appreciate it. I love each and everyone of you.

We all made sure Ate Mhye gets home safe, it was fair enough to endure the pain from the walking. We all experience the same pain and joy anyway. We all had a beautiful SG experience!

And so the little kid enjoyed the trip ☺
10 Things I love about my trip to SG:
1. Its very clean.
2. People wouldn’t mind what you do, what you wear. Mind your own business.
3.  The Chilli Crab.
4.  MRT is very accessible.
5. They have policies everywhere and you have no choice but to obey all the rules or else you’ll end up being fined or in jail. LOL
6. First Country I visit
7. Marina Bay Sands particularly Wonder Full just..just.. blew me away.
8. The water presentation at Marina Bay Sands made me cry. It made me realize that life…is beyond beautiful.
9. Celebrating your birthday abroad is nice and I got to escape from the demands of the real world.
10. I got to experience it with my good friends, well more importantly with Patten.  I hope next time, I’ll be visiting SG with my family and my nephews that will be a lot happier!

Okay, just to end this: Here's a picture of me saying:
o

So Help me, God.

Last august, we heard about the news that we will no longer experience the Oath Taking Ceremony @ SMX Convention Center because of some government non sense matter which I can't still see their point. Anyway, I'm just glad that our province's officials and the nursing schools made way so all those who passed the NLE from Batangas can experience it.

So after work last Spetember 24, my co-passer/worker Merrill and I headed straight to Batangas City (no sleep at all). Thanks to our co-worker/co-passer/friend M who let us in her place to fix ourselves.

The oath taking was jampacked. Parents and some relatives of the passers were more than the number expected. Anyway, despite my exhaustion from work, I didn't want to miss the Oath Taking. Its a special day.

Few words from BON Chairman, Carmencita Abaquin:

''When you do your best, God will make sure that you are blessed''

''Love your calling with passion''

''You are blessed and God blessed you to serve Him through your profession''

''You are expected to make a difference in the life of your client''

CONGRATULATIONS RNs! Congratulations to our parents and to those who supported us! The best is yet to come! ☺

God is forever great! ♥

Here are some photos from our Oath Taking :)

Merrill, M and I dropped by Mcdonalds for a drive-thru.
We had to take photos at Batangas' Capitolio. All in White baby.
