Valentine's Day or not.

Hi, There! Just Dropping by to send this little message from me.

I have been seeing posts of some people on Twitter, Facebook, etc that are stressing too much of not having someone to spend the Valentine's day with. It may be a struggle to celebrate alone to some, but seriously.. I do hope that everyone finds every reason to smile, in a relationship or not; Valentine's day or not.

Remember, You are Loved.
God bless your heart and its desires.

So what's up, Love month?

photo from google

Last night my brother asked me about some Prom thingamajigs. He asked me if he should go or not. I told him (I actually forced him) to attend. I think it’s something highschool students should not miss.

I can clearly remember how fun our prom was. Well of course, I had my “kilig” moments that I’ll never forget.  Being asked for a dance by quite a number of boys was fun and flattering.

When I was in 3rd Year (Junior HS), since it was my first time to attend I was a little shy so I was just sitting beside my friend Pam and I didn’t realize it will be a whole lot of fun when you’re being asked for a dance. I remembered trying to count how many boys have asked me to dance that time (Silly, yes but it’s true)  and it was really fun and flattering. Fun because I got to really enjoy and flattering because some boys from school really got to appreciate my beauty (Beauty?? HAHAHA). My last dance on that prom was my ultimate crush which really made my night and of course those dancing on the floor with my group. Fast forward to the following year, I was a Senior then and that was a night to remember. We had this little program where one Senior student will tell how she sees her batchmates in the future and the few names that she’ll mention should be coming up on stage. Luckily, I was included. It was really fun though. I even got to participate in a candle dance number (sorry, I can’t remember how it is being called). But that night was one of the best nights of my life! Okay, yes I was also asked for a dance by quite a number of boys, too. (Uyy, those were the days) and my last dance was still my ultimate crush (Uyy again).  My fave dances were those I did with my bestfriend Carlo, my super handsome bestfriend Nico, and Von Edward (he’s not the ultimate crush, okay) but he was my best guy buddy in highschool and of course with my ultimate crush (JK), Seriously, the group dances were the most fun! Okay, enough of my stories.

Now, seriously, I hope highschool students get to experience this especially when they have the opportunity because there are some schools that don’t hold such event. Plus, it’s fun and it’s something  most kids look forward too. Enjoying a prom is just a part of growing up. He-he.

Speaking of Prom which is being held every February? Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, I hope those with dates get to enjoy and those who have no plans nor expecting (like me)  Goodluck to us in battling our little girl dreams (he-he-he) maybe someday our little girl dreams will come true.

Enjoy the rest of Feb! Cheers to better days ahead!

To love: To hate.

photo I got from Google

Everyone of us gets to experience this little anger, displeasure and little dismay over someone we know or some other people.

I think the lesson that we could always get from that is.. it's just mind over matter. If they can not change those annoying attitude, might as well, just.. don't mind it. At the end of the day, you are the one who can understand better or, more likely, you are the one who is capable of ignoring and moving on or let's just say, you are the one who possesses the right amount of balance on interacting with other people.

Time will come that you'll get tired of hating the other person. Why? Because it is not even worth it. Time will come that you'll get used to it and you will no longer mind it. Time will come that you'll realize that there is no point in hating. Time will come that you will tell this to yourself "I'm glad I chose not to hate".

This is just a short note for those people who choose to love and forgive when they are being tempted to hate. This goes out to everybody, those in a relationship (but I'm not actually writing this because I have some relationship issues). This note could also be for those people who choose not to mind those people who do nothing but imitate them, talk at his/her back, or some other people who try to turn your good mood into bad. This is something everyone can relate into.

There will always be someone or some other people who will annoy you for some reasons that they imitate you or try to be like you or whatsoever, but seriously, let's move on because there is no point in hating. I'm sure we'll get used to it.

To those who get annoyed when people try to be like them, I think let us just be happy. Let us be happy because people try to be like you no matter how hard you stress out on them that they should always go their way. Well, at least by imitating you, they get to inspire or let's say impress other people like what they have always wanted.

To those who feel bad when a member of the family annoys them, well you already know what to do. Remember the meaning of a family.

To those who are in a relationship who always struggle to understand their partners, I don't know what piece of advice to give you best. Hmm, Choose to love and forgive no matter how hard it can be when you are tempted to find faults in your partner.

Okay, i think I'm all done. Bottomline: Choose to love instead of hating. If you can not atleast love, then  choose not to mind. At the end of the day, it is your decision if you will choose to love or to hate.

Hatred ever kills, love never dies. Such is the vast difference between the two. What is obtained by love is retained for all time. What is obtained by hatred proves a burden in reality for it increases hatred. -M K. Gandhi

Araño Couple, soon.

Its Wednesday afternoon  and I thought of playing around with the photos that we shot yesterday. Patten and I volunteered to assist his cousin Tots and his-soon-to-be-wife, Aiza on their Pre-Nup Photoshoot which was held @ Bluroze Farm, Lipa City.  It was a tiring but a fun photoshoot, I am excited to see Aiza walk down the aisle on the 30th of this month. Their love story is something unpredictable. But, can you say no when l.o.v.e itself has found you?  Yipee-yay-boom-bang.

I cant wait to really see their Pre-Nup Shots from Rey-Mer.
We brought Oncong with us so we took photos of them, too.
Best wishes to you guyysssss ♥

To Love is to AaRT.

Love is patient, Love is kind,
It does not envy, it does not boast,

It is not proud, It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil,
but rejoices with the truth.

Love always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.

Love bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never ends.

March 20, 2011

HEAL.THY,HEART.

One of the days I've been looking forward to is the time when my classmates and I will have a moment of Silence, Plain Joy, Forgiveness and Love. And those days came. and seems like it'll be never ending.

I am no first timer on attending retreats. I love Retreats. I am inlove with Retreats. I used to attend several retreats when I was in service. I had fun on my Senior HS Retreat, which I still can not forget. Retreats basically for me are fun. They're worth attending and you feel so much at ease when you are attending one.

March 7, 8 and 9. The days I must say those days I did feel our class really became a single unit
.
March 7. I was so glad to know that my roomates will be Lindsay and Heather. My buddies. My sisters. And I've been missing Lindsay alot since we're no longer groupmates and we just see each other during lecture days. So Heather and I missed the bonding. As giggly as we were, we didnt waste any of out precious times together in our room
.
The highlight of the first day was the Confession. Unfortunately, we seated at the back so we'll go last and the confession was running really late. I've been wanting to confess. An hour before my turn to confess, I
reflected hard and repented harder. Was almost in tears. Nah, I was really in tears while praying and talking to the Great Man above in silence.  I've thought that I was most probably healed. But I wasnt right. I was just halfway healed, I realized. But God really has His own ways of healing you. I know how lucky and blessed I am so dont get me wrong. It was my turn to confess, I said my sins. And how I sinned. After I was blessed, I prayed, closed my eyes and burst into tears. I burst into tears because I felt how great God's love for me is. Despite my appalling failures. I barely remember the amount of tears I shed when I did the kneeling and prayed. What can I recall most is how I felt the healing afterwards. After the confession, I felt totally healed. I believe, when God knows what's really in the core of your heart, He'll give you what you desire in His perfect time. And that was just the perfect timing. I have been praying for a total healing. But, i felt half empty and halfway healed for the past 2 years. And that night, God granted me my wish. Be Healed. And I felt extreme joy. No more pain in the heart. No more. I renewed myself, which was great. And Thank You, Father. I regained myself. As what our Retreat Fascilitator,Kuya Pau said, if you want a HEALTHY HEART. You have to HEAL.THY.HEART. And that happened.

Day 2. GREAT MORNING!
It was a great morning. And we learned alot. From the mass down to the activities and sessions. We Realized each others values more. And. We felt so understood and more loved. We had the chance to had one-on-one talk to the members of the class. And first I talked to was Lindsay. And my tears just cant stop falling because I know how dear she is to me. If you know me, I mean I am that one person who values the friends I really make. And we were both crying. I love her as much as I love Heather. They have made a huge impact in my College life. And that will never change. We have plenteous of differences, tear jerking misunderstandings and all, but the friendship will always be there. We've made so much memories that we can wrap ourselves in when the world gets cold. Yeah. It was harder than I thought to enumerate cos each member of the class were so incredible. I never doubt the goodness of their hearts. And I was so glad I was able to address each one of them how I appreciate them as who they really are. It was so nice to see reconciliations from those who had fights, it was so great to feel the love around. I felt the peace in each and everyone's hearts. Our swollen eyes from numerous shedding of tears, didnt matter. We hugged, kissed and expressed love. That part was undeniably the most worth remembering.

As our eyes were almost shutting, Kuya Pau said we will be having a Film Processing. And man, the movie was Matrix. So out of my drowsiness, I wondered what's the purpose of Kuya Pau for making us watch Matrix. I've watched the movie for the nth time. It's one of my favorites. So since Ive watched the movie so many times, I closed my eyes and took a nap but eventually opened my eyes when the fight scenes were being shown and I was wide awake. After the film, we had this film processing. so many lessons learned, one of which was: Don't think who you are, know who you are. Stop Thinking. Start Believing.
.
Day 3. GREAT MORNING.
Will you believe me if I say it was my first time attending an ash wednesday mass? Heeh! Loved the mass. Loved every little thing the priest addressed to us
.
We had this activity wherein we will be stating what is that thing we see physically on the person to our right that we hate or we're jealous of. It was a very fun and interactive activity. HAHA! And we learned.

You know what. If I'd be looking back on my highschool retreat, October 2006 its quite different from what we had this college. During those times, we were crying alot. Literally. We were sharing our sorrows and all. But this time, it was different. I guess it was because we were all matured. I guess because its not just what the retreat is all about. It wasnt just about reminiscing the things that have hurt you, nor remembering the wonderful moments in your life. Or maybe just praying and praying.

My meannisms about the Retreat:
Retreats are never boring. It will only be boring if you, yourself, are boring. If you just allow your heart to embrace the essence of what a Retreat is all about, you'll get the chance to experience the joy i'm talking about. ReTREAT. Treat is to cure, heal. And Re means again. Meaning to heal again. And that one great person who heals you fully is that one great person who loves you unconditionally and constantly, God. Retreat, you are being healed once you allow Him to enter to your heart, and directly to you soul. Its the time to Go back to the Lord. Its never too late to say your sins, and repent. Its a matter of Repentance, Faith, Healing and Forgiveness. God heals all wounds. Just like any other soldiers being wounded in the battlefield, you also need to retreat. We all need to retreat. We are all wounded. Wounds are part of our lives. Wounds are necessary for us people to see the light and realize that God can only give us the right amount of light we really need. Its a way to Jesus' loving heart.

And lastly, I believe. After the 3day retreat, with full conviction i must say I AM HEALED. We are all healed.

Sharing some photos from our retreat, thanks Len for the pics! :D

Hey, No more Division! I love Group A, B, C! :D

JUST ONE TAKE, LORD. ONE.

PS: As the members of the class got to their homes after the retreat, everyone felt an extreme change. An expression of love all over the corners in the class. Everything has gone great.

3 YEARS IN A ROW.

Blah blah blah.

People do fall in love. And sometimes, they can't just stop falling. I

believe I'm one of those.

December 29, 2010. A day to remember.

What: A romantic yet funny surprise that he really deserves

When: Few more minutes before December 29, 2010.

Why: 3rd Year Anniversary

Who: Patrick Allen, Yours Truly

Alright. Little kiddo has a romantic side which she really wanted her

Geek/artist/unpredictably cute guy to see like he has never seen one

before.

There has been plenteous of ideas popping into little kiddo's mind challenging her creativity and idealistic skills. Her neurons got a little distracted which resulted into increase in her dopa secretion resulting in altered motivation as manifested by her looking-super-

excited face. Kidding.

At December 28. They had this little fight. But it didn't hinder little
kiddo's plan.

In the afternoon, after little kiddo went for movie date with her cousins, she went here and there to look for some still fresh-looking petals. Headed to the dry market after and looked for some other thingummies she'll be needing for the surprise. Little kiddo by the way isn't really a fan of walking and beating sun's heat. But as long as she enjoys what she does, she'll go for it. She was able to complete the materials needed past 5 in the afternoon, then headed home to do some cutting outs of the personalized candle lamps. Sucks that i do not know what to call that. Good thing, my two very helpful and more excited as I am cousins were eager to help. Past 7:00pm when little kiddo attempted to play the song she'll be playing in the

surprise for Mr. Unpredictable.

It's almost 8:00pm when your dear kid headed to SM to purchase a cake

and went straight back home.

It's past 9:00pm when I arranged the setting of the surprise. Yahoo. It

was a very dim setting, blackcloth on the floor with petals on it,

the candle lamps on side, beat-box and guitar in front, cake with 36
candles on. Last thing to do: wore a dress.

Past 11;00 pm, here comes my guy. I blind folded him and guided him to

walk through the stairs and had him sit on a chair still blindfolded.

I sat on the chair, got the guitar and told him to take off the mask i

used to blindfold him. I was hypothetically nervous when I see his

face in a 'what-kind-of-surprise-is-this'.. I started the plucking of

the strings and almost laughed out loud when I sang the first line..

Just when I thought I was absolutely nervous. I strummed and almost

forgot the chords.
CANDLES MELTED IN A SNAP

He was smiling at me, trying to look at the kinda romantic setting

while I was still on my singing and strumming slash plucking mode

which I did suck. Sorry about that.

As I sang the last line, I feltl like I'd be speechless. Bang.

He was happy. The smile on his face was technically visible. Made me

feel 'Oh Yes! He loved it'!! We danced too, while the petals touched

our feet.

What's so funny about it? I wore a dress. This little kiddo who

sometimes acts like a tomboy wore a dress surprisingly which really

made the Architect wannabe laughed his ass out.

I was indeed, very satisfied with what I did. Pat deserves that kind

of surprise. I wanted him to feel special, a lot special like the way

he makes me feel that I really am special to him.

It was the cheesiest thing I've done, corniest maybe. But, it takes a

lot of courage to do things like that especially when you are a girl.

And surprises like that are often expected by some jeune fille  who would not

bother to do such 'cos guys must be the one doing that.

But, my unpredictable-geek-athletic-hasthehandsofanartist guy is an

exception to the rule. He deserves that cos he really is special.

Words, romantic thingamajigs, gifts will never be enough.

I just cant stop falling. For three years,    I feel the same old reasons

for loving him. And it grows more everyday.

HAPPY THREE YEARS!
='>

BTW, the song I sang was: 'Til They Take My Heart Away ='>

January 1, 2011

What am i most thankful in 2010.

Allow me to share the things I am most thankful of in 2010. As we say goodbye with breath-taking 2010, let's not forget the things that we really are most grateful of

1.FRIENDS.

Friends that are still you're friends, NO MATTER WHAT.
REUNION with my Senior HS Buds.

Reunited with Lo and Noy. One of my best guys!

Reunited with the former East B: Sector Core Group.
I must say that they really are one of those who really inspired me, big time!
They are amazing warriors.

MY SISTERSFOREVER. My SISTERS IN CRIME.
Ive been friends with them for 8 years now. And our friendship is forever.

A bestfriend forever.
Kristine. She's my forever sister. We dont really get to see each other just like the old times, but we know deep within the cores of hearts that we will always be here for each other.

College life wouldnt be any happier without them. Lindsay and Heather.
Two girls, different persona. I love them. I just love being around with L & H.
Amazing ladies whom I know.. Accepts me, big time.

New found friends in my Chessmates!
Without them, I wont be motivated enough to get the goal.

My weekend buddies.
I'm thankful of them, cause it's hard to really get to be with guys most of the time you weren't close in the first place. But. They truly are one of a kind. They're easy to call, and will get to your side as soon as they can.

My dear Group B.
I've always believed in them. They are true and fierce- less. But If you would know what's in their hearts, you'll be in tears for sure.

2. The challenges that tear me apart. Challenges that made me way better.
Let us always find hope and comfort as we go through difficult times in of our lives.
I wouldnt be armed with my 2010 battles without Him being my shield.

3. My Mom getting to Canada to get to work. Although it was heart breaking to see her miles away from us.
I MISS YOU SOBRA.

4. My brother , Doods and his family in Dubai looking a lot happier. I miss them and I wanna shower my nephew Dom with hugs and kisses as soon as they get back.

5. My brother, Frank trying to make up everything for his family.

These are my adorable nephews. Paul and Sean.

Paul, the eldest. Becomes a little timid in the crown when he turned 2. He just loves sitting and playing with his toys or just watching cartoons all day long. He loves taking videos and being taken pictures on. :-))

Sean, the youngest. He's the naughty one and very funny to be with. He enjoys the crowd bigtime. And always wants to be fun of. :-))

My two adorable nephews, and they mean the whole world to me.

6. My boyfriend, Patten got to go back to London for a month and be with his family. I know he's at his happiest state when he's with them :-)

His Fam based @ London.

And We WON!

Thanking God for all the victories!

8. Let's not forget the issues that made every Filipino in the world proud. NAKS!

The noisy roads and hi-ways in every corner of our country seems so quiet everytime
 he's on the boxing ring.
Venus Raj's Major Major Outstanding Pinay Beauty!

Azkals on the Go!

Charice on Glee. I never liked Charice in the first place but I am really proud of her.

and lastly.. I'm proud of every Filipino Voter who participated in May 2010 Elections. I did take time to really face the blazing heat of the sun and wait for hours just to vote for their 'president'.

Although Gibo didnt win, I'm still happy Noynoy won.

9. Im grateful of my boyfriend for 3 years, Patten. He never left me in 2010. Thick or thin, he stood by me.
