I love how I get to catch up with my old friends! Last night was full of fun!
After our dinner at Yellowcab which was Jeboi's treat by the way, we had this little joyride to (The) Coffee Bean & Central, ended up at Coffee Bean and had coffee and nonstop talking! Thanks to Nico G. for lending me his jacket (couldn't stand the cold breeze). TCB was Nico G's treat.
After TCB, we headed to Starbucks to eat (again). Sorry Starbucks people if I had to bring my coffee from TCB, haha! Afterwards, the newly Registered Pharmacist, (ate) Mapet Diaz and Ratsy and Nico M. came over. We were super noisy.
Forgive my little happiness, I was just so glad that I got to catch up with them after so many years!
I pray that God continues to bestow more love and success in their lives.
PS Value your friends. The old ones, even if you dont get to see and talk to them often, as long as you know that they are your friends, that will never change. Friendship knows no distance.
Here's what I got from Google.
''Sometimes, even distance itself cannot separate friends
The real meaning of friendship lays real on the being of the people involved in it…
The concern that each person has for the other remains as the strong coil of connection
A coil that cannot be cut by distance nor can it be hindered by
long times of not seeing one another
Real friendship remains in the heart and exists in wordless conversations
Finding that one friend who knows you down deep even when you are far apart is a gift
One gift that not everyone finds easy….
If you find it, keep it… if you happen to come across it, never let it go
And never let distance hinder you from making that friendship grow
Consider real friendship an exceptional gift that you'll ever receive
Cherish it beyond all the challenges and the distance that exists within the friendship
For only through this that friendship becomes solid, becomes strong enough
To survive even without the existence of words...
Just the idea of knowing that friendship remains...
Even beyond all the elements that keep you apart from each other''
love,
the little kid
